Welcome to The Stafford and Mid-Staffs Archaeological Society Website! If you have a love of archaeology, why not come along and join us once a month on Fridays at 1930 at St Bertelin's Church, Holmcroft Road, Stafford? Coffee and biscuits will be served free of charge after each lecture.

Stafford and Mid-Staffs Archaeological Society has a membership of about 50, and meets regularly on Friday evenings once a month 1930 to 2130 from September to April (see below for our current programme dates) at St Bertelin's Church, Holmcroft Road, Stafford (map). You will be very welcome to attend. All members pay an annual subscription and visitors are also welcome at a charge of £3 per meeting. Practical digging on archaeological sites may be available.

An Annual General Meeting is held before the October lecture and the elected committee meets as and when necessary.

There is a Christmas Social Evening. Any ideas for visits, archaeological digs or subjects for lectures are most welcome.
